Roman city of Cauca II century C.E. (Segovia)

Ideal reconstruction of the Roman city of Cauca (Segovia) in the II century C.E., based on fragmented archaeological data of its urban structures. This is how this city may have been, less monumental than others known in the region, which maintains an organised structure with its public buildings and its road axes marked by its necropolis and to the north by the bridge over the Eresma river. The best known is the sumptuous Villa de los 5 caños, of which marble and fragments of the frescoes from a stage of the great rooms and the baths have been preserved. Project made by commission of the Diputación de Segovia.
