Royal Shipyards of Barcelona XVIth century

Ideal reconstruction of the Royal Shipyards of Barcelona, showing the state of the works of expansion of the great factory of the galleys in the second half of the XVI century. Construction started during the 13th century under the rule of Peter III of Aragon and It was extended progressively adding new sheds to northwest courtyard and fortifying the coastline with a new bulwark to extend and defend the sea wall from the south. Made for the historical magazine DespertaFerro Especiales "La Armada española I. El Mediterráneo, S.XVI".
